I just gave up with the transfer and wrote myself a check. Apparently they are low at first and are raised after you successfully make transfers with no problems. The only frustration I've had with PNC is when I tried to make large transfers from my PNC account to my HYSA (after the initial funding), I was met with extremely low transfer limits. I've only used it a handful of times because I don't usually shop at those place. You have to "activate" the offers in your account. PNC Purchase Payback can get you 5-10% back at certain retailers (Starbucks, Petsmart, etc.). Their mobile app makes depositing checks fast and simple. I have been doing all of my banking with them online for the past three years, and I've had no problems with it. I moved to an area with no PNC banks nearby, so I am forced to use non-PNC ATMs. My favorite features of Performance Select are that there is no fee for using non-PNC ATMs including international ATMs, and all ATM surcharge fees are reimbursed (up to $10 per month in my area). The interest rate on the Growth account rivals (or in your case even exceeds) those of online HYSAs. It is very easy to transfer money between the Spend, Reserve, and Growth accounts.
